It has come to our attention that numerous people have expressed interest in the art group although an answer could not be given on whether or not we could accept them.

To reiterate something that was mentioned in the beginning, this is currently a preparation account for the upcoming deviantART Groups system; in essence, it is incomplete and still under planning.

While we appreciate people who express interest in joining, we are still gauging who is currently in the group. While initially the group was a transfer from a previous group that had existed, it is now rebounding on that concept and is becoming its own solitary group and will have a completely different baseline to it.

We will be looking at people not for how good they are but what their goals are, why they do what they do, how they relate with others in an art team setting, among other things.

In addition, we will be opening up beyond concept art and illustration and allowing new mediums/genres in the future.

Artists who join, including artists who are already in the preparation group, may be given an interview to see where they stand as an artist and how they will relate to other individuals already in the group or may be joining the group.
